Dalmatian ears out of Felt Cut one strip of
white felt for
each child 2 inch wide
and 24 inch long for headbands.
With tracing paper
make a pattern from thin poster board.
Cut 2 ears out of white felt for each child. Fold a pleat in each ear and staple two to the inside of each
headband. The ears should
drop over the top of the band. Paint
black spots on ears and headband. Allow
drying for 24 hours. Ears are 6 inches across and 7 inches long. Pleats are 2 inches in from each side.
I ordered the
Dalmatian assortment through the Oriental
Trading Co COOKIE CUTTER CRAYON: Form a mold by placing a few layers of aluminum foil under a cookie cutter, then wrapping the foil around the cutter's outside edges. Set the mold on a cookie sheet and fill halfway with unwrapped stubs. Bake in a 300-degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes, until just melted. Remove and cool. Serve with a large piece of paper.
I used the directions from FamilyFun.com. You could serve the cake in new clean dog bowls. I also make bone cookie to eat.
We watched 101 Dalmatians and colored some pictures from Disney.com. That was all the activities since this was a party for 2-4 year olds. You could play pin the bone on the dog.
We decorated the party room in all black and white. We had white balloons and drew black spots on them with magic marker. We had black and white streamers and a white table cloth. If it is a nice day, you can take chalk and draw paw print leading up to the house. You can order plates, cups, napkins, tablecloth, etc through birthdayexpress.com. Click on Image to enlarge You may want to save the above papers to your computer then open them in your photo editor. You can add your own text. When you print the stationary, to do list, tablet and invitation you will need to go to print preview then center it and fit to page.
